Creative Alyssa

Me Like 10 Years Ago but still me!A Web Development Company

Hi I'm Chris Chipps. I am the guy behind CreativeAlyssa.com. I make web stuff, and I'm passionate about getting web stuff right. I have nearly fifteen years of experience in Internet user interface design, customer services and higher education. I have developed, and maintained Internet sites with e-commerce capabilities for the UT Health Science Center in San Antonio, the University of Texas at San Antonio, the University of the Incarnate Word, Clever Little Robot and more!

Creative Alyssa is Exceptional at:

HTML, JavaScript, usability, CSS, CFM, PHP, Action Script, XML, and ASP (classic).

I take on projects that are worthwhile and interesting. I'm really picky about the work I do, and I'm positive that I can turn any good idea into "something web" within your time line and on budget. If you think you might have a great idea for a web deployed project or in need of a website, drop me a line, or give me a call, I'm always interested in people, places, and still plant photography (check out my pics on this site :).

Groesbeck Masonry Inc.

gmiClient:
Groesbeck Masonry Inc.

Completed:

GMI Masonry needed a website that reflected the work they do in the masonry industry. On top of the HTML, theme, and style for the website, I also created a home page rotator, and a page that uses the Flickr API to show the client's snapshots using the Mootools JavaScript Library.

The Trendy Girls Boutique

thetrendygirlsboutique.com

The Trendy Girls Boutique needed a website to sell their products on-line. I created all the HTML, CSS, Java Script, and programmatic code to handle transactions on the website. The site has a cart, and a inventory management system the client uses to maintain their inventory.

I conducted usability studies, surveys, and consolidated some 500+ pages from 5 different sub-units into one concise website with a simple back-end system to create alerts and home page content.

Clever Little Robot

I Grew This Too
This is my favorite

“If you are not prepared to be wrong, you'll never come up with anything original.”

~ Ken Robinson

Exploratory work up is done up front. Collect information, diagram processes, talk with focus groups and clients. Ask questions. Then ask more questions.

Collaborate with the design team to create wireframes, rapid prototypes, color swatches, final comps., and time-lines. Finally we get busy making that idea come alive on the Web.
